Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and communications systems from the assigned desk, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support receiving and shipping operations by directing drivers and visitors to designated areas and communicating arrival information to site contacts.
