Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, and perimeter locations, reporting observed hazards, irregular conditions, and policy violations.
