Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the logistics and distribution location, following established delivery, pickup, and trailer yard entry procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
