As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, use computer or tablet systems to document activity, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control access to restricted areas.
  • Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; document access-related activity and report discrepancies to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
