Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a front desk location supporting an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and visitor management activities.
  • Greet, screen, and direct visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements and site protocols.
  • Verify credentials, issue visitor badges as authorized, maintain accurate visitor and access logs, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor entry points and front desk activity, report unusual or unauthorized activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
