Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
  • Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, direct inquiries, coordinate with building management and/or emergency responders, and provide professional lobby coverage in a high-traffic environment.
