As a Security Officer - Vehicle Elevator Control Station, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A New York State Security Guard License is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and property management representatives.
