You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report conditions, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees, travelers, and visitors. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing authorized individuals, responding to questions, and maintaining a professional presence at the location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
