Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, observing and reporting unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying permissions, directing foot traffic, and communicating with staff and/or visitors as needed.
Support a healthcare environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and documenting security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns for follow-up.
