As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, provide directions, and/or assist with visitor-related questions.
  • Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, daily activity, and notable conditions observed during the shift.
