As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, including public spaces, restricted access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, following post orders, and documenting incidents, daily activities, and/or irregular conditions.
• Support orderly operations at a government transportation location by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or local authorities during routine and emergency situations.
