This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I). As an Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agencies as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted locations, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, report suspicious behavior and/or hazards, and document incidents according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
