Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 21+ years of age
- Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unauthorized access, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Support traffic and pedestrian flow at designated posts, provide directions and general assistance, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.
