About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused corporate location in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding professionally to site needs. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The posted schedule is Sunday and Monday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.86–$20.86 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
