About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control activities, and delivering customer service. This driving position involves building trusted relationships and responding professionally to site needs. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The pay rate is $27.00–$28.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience.

- A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of banking offices, lobbies, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor logs according to site-specific procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to company and site requirements.
