About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a financial institution in New York, NY. The role involves conducting routine and random patrols, monitoring access points, helping deter incidents through a visible presence, and providing customer service and communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $27.00–$28.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Any required licensing must comply with applicable state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
