This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I).

As a Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or screening support locations in accordance with post orders, helping to identify access issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist with traffic flow, wayfinding, and general public assistance at the location while observing for security-related concerns and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or operational issues.
