As a Airport Security Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of security experience
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an airport location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, public agencies, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity in assigned areas, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
  • Support government location operations by documenting daily activities, assisting with directions and inquiries, and following post orders related to restricted areas and public-facing environments.
