As an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter lines, as conditions vary across the site.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or controlled areas.
• Support site operations by communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders, helping to address unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations in a professional manner.
