Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activity according to post orders and location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verify access permissions when required, and communicate with supervisors, law enforcement, and/or airport staff regarding security-related concerns.
• Support day-to-day operations by documenting incidents, completing routine reports, providing directions and assistance to the public, and following Allied Universal standards and location-specific expectations.
