Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and/or conditions that could impact operations.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and/or exit activity, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations.
Support a professional location environment by communicating with employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, documenting incidents, and escalating concerns to site contacts when appropriate.
