Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following government location policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, first responders, and/or designated personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, document security-related incidents and/or observations, and report concerns to appropriate staff.
• Support a professional environment for employees, visitors, and members of the public by providing directions, answering questions, and/or assisting with security-related requests.
