Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
  • CPR certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and document daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations in required reports.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with directional guidance during evacuations and/or restricted access situations, and reporting changing conditions promptly.
