Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and/or actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and campus-related activity, assist with directions and general information, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
