As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Agent in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general support, and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Support campus operations during events, high-traffic periods, and/or after-hours activity by observing surroundings, communicating clearly, and following post orders and client-specific guidelines.
