As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Theodore, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and observed activity according to site procedures.
Prepare clear reports on incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related violations, and relay important updates during shift turnover and to site management.
