Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support residents and guests, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. In this role, you will complete routine patrols, respond to concerns, and deliver customer-focused service while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with community policies, documenting security-related incidents and/or daily activities as required.
• Support a welcoming residential environment by assisting with routine inquiries, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could affect residents or operations.
