As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Destin, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, amenity areas, and other assigned locations, assisting with visitor management, resident assistance, and/or policy awareness in support of community expectations.
• Communicate with property management, residents, and/or local responders when needed regarding incidents, disturbances, and other security-related matters at the location.
