Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, assisting with badge checks, visitor processing, and access control procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Support daily operations by observing for operational disruptions, unsecured doors, damaged fencing, and/or other conditions that could impact the location, then communicating findings through required reports and notifications.
