As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Driver in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation-related location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, entrances, transit-related infrastructure, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, assisting with visitor direction and reporting concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
