As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  • Observe and report conditions that may impact facility operations, including unsecured access points, damaged property, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity, following established site procedures.
