Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Help protect sensitive business operations and property by reporting potential security-related hazards, policy violations, and suspicious behavior to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
