As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and/or permissions as required, and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support facility operations by observing vehicle traffic, checking exterior doors and gates, and communicating clearly with employees, vendors, and/or first responders when needed.
