As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unexpected situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support the flow of people, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Observe operational areas for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues, and submit timely reports on incidents, hazards, and security-related activities.
