Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor parking facilities and surrounding areas through routine vehicle and foot patrols. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support the public with outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government parking location.
  • Respond to incidents, parking-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor vehicle and pedestrian activity, assist with directions and general information, and help to support orderly use of public parking facilities in accordance with location rules.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site representatives as needed.
