About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also support access awareness, assist tenants and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and property activity, verify authorized entry when required, and communicate clearly with tenants, residents, guests, and/or vendors regarding site rules, directions, and property-related concerns.
Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, logging incidents, noting property conditions, and sharing relevant updates during shift transitions and/or with local management.
