As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Owings Mills, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while maintaining awareness of site activity and documenting observations, incidents, and/or maintenance-related issues.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, assist with access control and visitor interactions, and follow Allied Universal post orders and reporting procedures.
