Requirements

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones, while remaining aware that working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing site traffic, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and/or visitors.
• Support logistics and distribution operations by observing vehicle movement, noting potential hazards or disruptions, and relaying security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
