As a Security Officer Driver with TWIC Patrol in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will also support access awareness and deliver outstanding customer service, while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as directed, and help support controlled access procedures for restricted areas.
Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations related to equipment, site conditions, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
