As a Security Officer Driver with TWIC Patrol in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will also support access awareness and deliver outstanding customer service, while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as directed, and help support controlled access procedures for restricted areas.
  • Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations related to equipment, site conditions, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
