About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver TWIC Required in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or designated operational zones while verifying credentials, observing activity, and documenting security-related events in required reports.
• Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders when appropriate, while following Allied Universal policies and post orders.
