As a Security Officer Driver Credential Specialist in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and perform routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will stay visible, support site access procedures, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and managing entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at the location.
  • Monitor gates, lobbies, badge stations, and other assigned access points to help control unauthorized entry and help to deter security-related concerns in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Complete visitor registration, vehicle and material entry documentation, and required activity reports while maintaining accurate records of security-related events and observations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including restricted access areas, while observing for hazards, policy violations, and/or unusual activity.
