About The Position

As a Security Officer Turnstile Operations in Boise, Idaho, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including technology, media, and telecommunications. In this access control role, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and report security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while helping deter unauthorized access. The position is full time and pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local law; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access concerns, incidents, and policy violations.
