About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Traffic Control Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients on a leading university campus in University City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The officer helps maintain a welcoming campus environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service and communication to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Pay is $19.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The role involves following campus-specific procedures and policies, responding to incidents, conducting patrols across campus buildings and grounds, monitoring access points, reporting concerns, and completing required documentation. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations while following established campus protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
