About The Position

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency communication guidelines at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and/or other communication systems, then dispatch appropriate personnel in response to incidents, service requests, and unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and relaying accurate information to site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records to support security-related operations, shift continuity, and timely follow-up on site concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination and status tracking for assigned personnel around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support site coverage needs.
