Requirements

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or access concerns.
• Support security-related operations by preparing reports, maintaining logs, and following post orders for restricted areas, deliveries, and/or authorized access requests.
