As a Security Officer Secure Entry Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will help manage entry activity, verify badges and credentials, monitor assigned areas, and perform routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, support daily operations, and make an impact through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access records for employees, guests, and/or deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location and reporting suspicious activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, and other security-related conditions.
