About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening in Atlanta, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients at a government location. You will screen visitors and permitted items, monitor access points, verify credentials, and report security-related concerns while providing professional customer service and clear communication. The position is part-time, with scheduled shifts Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Additional shifts may be claimed through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
CPR and First Aid certification.
X-ray screening experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen individuals and permitted personal property using assigned equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Verify access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate locations, and maintain orderly entry and screening areas.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow post orders, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, as applicable.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in required reports.
