About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for Screening Operations at a logistics and distribution location in Fort Worth, Texas. The officer conducts screening activities, monitors assigned areas, and helps deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. The role involves communicating clearly with team members and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $16.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and/or shipments entering or leaving the distribution location according to established site requirements.
Verify access credentials, maintain visitor and screening records, and report unauthorized access attempts or prohibited items to site leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
