About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Screening Queue Management in Irving, Texas, serving clients in logistics and distribution. The role helps maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials according to site procedures. The officer remains attentive, communicates professionally, documents security-related activity, and uses technology to support daily operations. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles according to site procedures, and maintain accurate records of access and screening activity.
Monitor access points, entry lanes, and screening equipment; report prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
