You will conduct entry screenings, monitor access points, verify credentials, observe activity, and communicate concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service while carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, personal belongings, and/or authorized items in accordance with established procedures and post orders.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document screening activity, denied entries, and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around designated operational areas and the perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
